Scott Taft, a 2003 graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, has earned acclaim for his ability to design visually dynamic and sustainable spaces. Before founding Parick Design, LLC, he sharpened his expertise at boutique design firms in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and Georgetown, Washington, DC, as well as a civil engineering firm in Maryland.

 

Scott is renowned for his unique aesthetic in urban garden design and an unparalleled attention to detail. His work has become synonymous with sophisticated landscapes that enhance the natural beauty of homes across the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In addition to outdoor environments, Scott also designs beautiful indoor planters and offers exquisite seasonal decorating services, elevating interiors and exteriors alike.

 

Scott’s love for plants began as a toddler while gardening with his grandfather, and by adolescence, he was a passionate member of garden clubs. His childhood room overflowed with plants, with every birthday and holiday adding to his cherished collection. Today, Scott channels that lifelong devotion into his work, combining creativity and precision to transform spaces into harmonious works of art.
