Giving Back

Founded in 1992, the Sinai house has enabled families to move from homelessness to independence by providing safe and affordable housing, comprehensive social services and financial support.  Scott joined Sinai house in September 2017, volunteering his time mentoring and tutoring the children of these families.

Completed in March of 2019, Parick Design, LLC, developed a master plan for a children's garden and playground. With the help of the Eagle Scouts and volunteers from the organization, the project was completed in one day.

The garden’s are switched out seasonally and teach children about sustainable gardening. The program for the space also includes educational items such as lettered flagstones to engage children and help them learn while they play
